The confirmed setting is Vice City and the surrounding Leonida state — a fictional Florida analogue. Protagonists are Jason and Lucia, a couple whose stories intertwine around a major heist. Single-player is confirmed to be playable as either protagonist, with different mission structures and dialogue for each. GTA 6 Online launches simultaneously with the single-player and features a new cooperative crime architecture that allows 16-player heist operations.
